Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests warmly to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially during nightclubs or high-energy events. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during banquets or catering functions. Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service. Skills Proven experience in food and beverage service, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations. Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing techniques or beverage pairing is a plus.
