Overview Join our dynamic team as an Axe Coach/Bartender, where you'll combine your passion for craft beverages with your expertise in axe throwing to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively environment, enjoys engaging with customers, and has a flair for craft beer and hospitality. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring safety during axe throwing activities, and getting guests that perfect drink that keeps them coming back for more. Bring your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and love of hospitality to help us elevate the fun and flavor at our venue! Duties Safely instruct guests on proper axe throwing techniques and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure environment. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beer, cider, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and customize drinks based on guest preferences to enhance their experience. Manage POS system (Square) for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation procedures. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about drinks or axe throwing activities, and foster a lively atmosphere. Assist in bar management duties including inventory control, restocking supplies, and tracking beverage sales data. Skills Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Experience in food handling, food safety practices, cash handling, retail math, banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
