Job Description

Job Summary We are a family-owned bar/restaurant with a small staff. We are looking to hire the right personality to join our team! The ideal candidate will have bartending and serving experience, will be open to bartending and serving and be available Wednesday thru Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM on a weekly basis . We are looking for a permanent morning bartender! Previous food and beverage experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Operator license with Saukville will be required after hire. Pay Daytime bartender wage is $9.00 an hour plus tips. Server wage is $2.30 an hour plus tips. All tips paid out at end of each shift. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, utilizing Toast POS system. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Demonstrate effective time management by balancing multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining a lively pace. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred. Knowledge of Toast POS system is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using cashiering skills. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for transactions. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
