Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and providing top-notch service to patrons in a fine dining or banquet setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and managing tabs. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during catering events or banquets. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist in ordering as needed. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve customers while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus. Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in retail math for accurate transactions. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Experience with catering services is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service. Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service regulations.
