Role Title Bar Lead Manager Restaurant/ Hospitality Manager Job Summary The hospitality-driven Lead Bartender will help head up our beverage program in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager and the Assistant Manager. While this role does not involve administrative people management (such as scheduling or hiring), you will serve as the cultural anchor of our bar. You will lead by example, training fellow team members on your drink designs, and driving our hospitality culture. You will also assist with beverage program development, inventory control, and opening/closing procedures.

Work Experience Duties/Responsibilities Lead by example during high-volume shifts, demonstrating multitasking, speed, and clean work habits. Act as a role model on the floor, showcasing positive communication and professionalism. Greet customers, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and rapidly resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism. Set the benchmark for warm, proactive hospitality, turning first-time guests into regulars. Execute opening and closing checklists, verify facility cleanliness, and manage product stock levels. Execute opening protocols, including bar setup, fresh juice/garnish prep, and register initialization. Manage closing procedures to secure the physical space, and properly store perishables. Oversee cash drawer balancing, manage safe drops, and accurately document shift reports. Conduct comprehensive, accurate weekly and monthly beverage and bar supply inventory audits. Enforce strict health department standards, food safety regulations, and workplace safety protocols. Design, test, and implement creative, high-quality seasonal cocktail menus and beverage offerings. Establish and document precise recipe specs, presentation guidelines, and prep procedures.
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional bartending experience with a heavy emphasis on beverage design or inventory management preferred. Knowledge in mixology, spirit profiles, wine pairing, and draft beer systems. Proficiency with bar inventory software and Toast POS networks Valid bartender's license, or ability to acquire one within 30 days. Physical ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs (kegs, cases, etc)
