Bartender

Responsibilities:

• Work shifts are mainly Friday and Saturday nights with weekday shifts as needed
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer's food and/or drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and restock items as necessary
• Complete additional side duties required to keep the bar in an orderly state
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food and beverages
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred
• Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, and cocktail recipes
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs)
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
• Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
