Job Description

Overview The Outside Services Team is responsible for delivering an exceptional member and guest golf experience from arrival through departure. This role serves as a primary point of contact for members and guests, ensuring all aspects of outside golf services are executed with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. Outside Services Team Members support daily golf operations by greeting members and guests, preparing carts and practice facilities for play, handling golf bags, monitoring range needs, and responding to special member requests. This position plays a vital role in upholding Indian Ridge's reputation for hospitality and personalized service within a premier private club environment. Essential Responsibilities Member & Guest Experience Greet members and guests promptly upon arrival with a welcoming, professional demeanor. Anticipate and respond to member and guest needs to deliver a personalized and seamless experience. Provide clear communication and assistance while maintaining Indian Ridge's service standards. Address member requests and concerns promptly, escalating issues to leadership when appropriate. Bag Handling & Guest Preparation Prepare golf bags for play, including staging, cleaning, and organizing equipment. Load and unload golf bags safely and efficiently. Ensure members' and guests' equipment is handled with care at all times. Cart Operations Clean, stage, and prepare golf carts prior to play, ensuring they meet Club standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Stock carts with necessary amenities and supplies. Manage cart flow before, during, and after play. Maintain cart staging areas in an orderly and professional manner. Practice Facility Preparation Set up and maintain practice facilities daily, including driving range, short game areas, and putting greens. Pick, wash, and restock golf balls as needed throughout the day. Ensure practice areas are clean, organized, and ready for member use at all times. Guest Services Assist guests unfamiliar with the Club layout and amenities. Daily Operations Support Assist with opening and closing procedures for outside golf operations. Support tournaments, leagues, and special events as assigned. Work collaboratively with golf professionals, outside services leadership, and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Professional Standards Maintain a polished professional appearance and adhere to Indian Ridge's uniform and grooming standards. Uphold all Club policies, safety procedures, and service expectations. Serve as an ambassador of Indian Ridge's hospitality culture. Physical & Mental Demands (Job-Related Only) Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the practice facilities, cart barn, and clubhouse. Regularly lift, carry, and maneuver golf bags and equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and manual dexterity required for bag handling, cart cleaning, and facility setup. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Visual acuity and coordination sufficient to safely operate carts and monitor guest activity. Mental & Professional Demands Strong situational awareness in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor. Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset. Emotional intelligence and professionalism when interacting with members, guests, and staff. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on golf operations and events.
