About the
Role:
As our Bell Attendant , you will create memorable first and last impressions by welcoming guests with warmth, professionalism, and personalized service. You will assist with luggage, provide directions and local recommendations, escort guests to their rooms, and support the Front Office team in delivering a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a guest-facing environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional hospitality. Your Impact

What You'll Be Doing Guest Arrival & Departure Greet arriving and departing guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and room changes Escort guests to their guestrooms while providing information about hotel amenities and services Open doors, assist with transportation arrangements, and welcome visitors to the property Coordinate luggage storage and retrieval using established procedures Guest Service Respond promptly to guest requests and special accommodations Provide directions, local recommendations, and information about nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation Deliver guest items, packages, amenities, and messages to guestrooms Assist with room deliveries and special guest requests Resolve guest concerns or notify management when additional assistance is needed Front Office Support Work closely with the Front Desk to coordinate arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and group check-ins Monitor the hotel entrance and lobby to ensure a welcoming, organized environment Assist with valet coordination or transportation services when applicable Maintain luggage carts and bell storage areas in a clean and organized condition Safety & Security Safeguard guest luggage and personal belongings Follow lost-and-found procedures and maintain guest confidentiality Monitor the hotel entrance for safety and security concerns Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, or safety hazards promptly Support emergency procedures and hotel safety protocols Team Collaboration Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Security teams Support special events, VIP arrivals, and group business Assist teammates during peak operational periods Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused work environment Requirements Passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules Technical / Role-Specific Requirements Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing experience preferred Ability to safely handle and transport guest luggage Basic knowledge of local attractions, dining, and transportation options is a plus Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Preferred Qualifications Previous bell, door, valet, or front office experience preferred Experience in a full-service or lifestyle hotel is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are a plus Knowledge of Silicon Valley attractions and surrounding communities is beneficial Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull luggage weighing up to 75 pounds with or without assistance Ability to climb stairs and move throughout the hotel property Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered Benefits At Millennium Hotels & Resorts, we support our employees with a competitive benefits package designed to promote wellbeing and long-term success: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match (where applicable) Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Hotel Room Discounts across our global portfolio Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benefits eligibility and offerings are subject to plan terms and company policy.
