- Stay curious and keep improving ✨ What You'll Do Guest Service & Hospitality Greet arriving guests and warmly welcome them to the Club Assist guests as they arrive from vehicles, open entrance doors, and direct them to the Reception Desk Unload and transport guest luggage, skis, and personal belongings; tag luggage as necessary Meet routine member and guest needs, including shuttle services and luggage transportation Communicate efficiently and professionally with owners, guests, and members Work closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to provide seamless guest service Provide light concierge services, including answering questions about the area, providing directions, and recommending restaurants and local activities Provide information regarding Club services, hours of operation, daily functions, locations, and events Maintain a groomed and professional appearance in compliance with Club standards Team Leadership & Supervision Oversee all Bell Persons during scheduled Bell Lead shifts Hold Bell team members accountable for completing assigned responsibilities and maintaining service standards Follow up on missed tasks and ensure items are completed appropriately Direct and coach team members in the moment to maintain service and operational standards Communicate progressive discipline concerns to the Guest Services Manager, Residences Director, and Human Resources Ensure Bell team members are knowledgeable about department policies, procedures, events, and property information Maintain awareness of the Who, What, When, Where, and Why of department and property activities Ensure completion and accountability of required Bell team materials, including Bell Tracking Cards, door stoppers, in-house listings, weekly event lists, and earpieces Supervise valet parking and maintain the smooth flow of traffic throughout the parking circle and entrance drive Prevent unauthorized parking in the parking circle and entrance areas Transportation & Vehicle Operations Oversee the transportation schedule and driver allocation Provide transportation to and from Aspen Airport while following all applicable laws and regulations Ensure all vehicles meet required safety and maintenance standards Monitor vehicle cleanliness and ensure vehicles are washed, vacuumed, and properly maintained Communicate vehicle issues or accidents to management promptly Organize and coordinate owner bin delivery and removal Communicate with the Front Desk regarding room availability before Bell team members depart for airport transportation Property & Bell Operations Maintain all areas of responsibility within the Bell Department, including: Ski Room Owner Storage Bike Rooms Back Office Storage Package Closet Loading Dock Vehicle Shuttles Ensure all assigned areas remain clean, organized, and properly maintained Polish stainless-steel bell carts and clean entrance windows as needed Complete daily checklists provided by the Guest Services Manager Turn lighting on and off and start music at the appropriate times according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Conduct consistent walk-throughs of all areas of the property Pick up trash and debris, clean and arrange furniture, and empty trash cans as needed Ensure walkways remain clear of ice, snow, leaves, trash, and other hazards Follow and maintain current Bell Team Operations Standards Creating Efficiencies Continuously identify opportunities to improve Bell Department operations and workflow Remain open to new and more efficient ways of completing departmental processes Train team members on updated policies and procedures and hold them accountable for following them Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout all Bell Department areas Communication & Information Communicate department policies, procedures, and operational updates effectively with all Bell team members Communicate day-to-day happenings through the end-of-shift email Keep the radio/Bell phone on at all times and respond promptly to calls Ensure Bell team members remain knowledgeable about: Arrival and departure statistics In-house guest lists Luggage and task-tracking sheets Club events and hours of operation Food & Beverage specials and music schedules Local events and activities Provide managers with relevant information regarding vehicle issues, accidents, guest concerns, and employee challenges Communicate important information to the Front Desk and other departments as needed Inventories & Records Ensure all required supplies are ordered and maintained with appropriate backstock Maintain organization of departmental supplies Maintain accurate Key Watcher records Ensure luggage and task-tracking sheets are completed and filed daily Ensure required Bell team information and records are maintained accurately ️ Safety & Emergency Response Follow all applicable safety procedures, laws, and regulations Maintain awareness of potential safety concerns throughout the property Ensure walkways and guest areas remain free of hazards Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations Ensure Bell team members follow established safety and operational procedures ️ Front Desk & Member Support Assist the Front Desk with phones and guests as needed Transfer phone calls and communicate important information to the Front Desk Assist with guest check-ins as needed Program key cards and assist with credit card collection when required Provide information to members and guests regarding room features and transportation Run errands and assist members and guests with appropriate requests Support other departments and team members as needed Qualifications Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent required Two years of banquet experience preferred One year of supervisory experience preferred Licenses and Special Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Snow driving experience preferred Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects Ability to coordinate the movement of arms, legs, and torso when the whole body is in motion Ability to occasionally stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach with the body, arms, and/or legs Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support the body repeatedly or continuously without experiencing undue fatigue Ability to exert oneself physically for extended periods of time without becoming winded or out of breath Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the workday Ability to handle, talk, hear, and see at near and far distances on a constant basis Ability to work approximately 50% indoors and 50% outdoors during both summer and winter seasons Ability to occasionally work in wet, humid, and other
