Summary :
As a Waterslide Attendant , you will help ensure a safe, fun, and welcoming experience for guests enjoying our water attractions. This role focuses on guest safety, clear communication, and maintaining proper operations at the waterslides and surrounding aquatic areas. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements :
Lifeguard certification required Previous customer service or aquatic experience preferred Communication and observation skills Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Commitment to guest safety and positive guest experiences Employer has other requirements Employer conducts Background Check, Drug Screening and E-Verify Physical Requirements Due to
Nature of Job :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
Responsibilities :
Monitor guests using the waterslides, pool, and lazy river to ensure safe operation Enforce all posted rules and height, weight, and safety requirements Provide clear instructions to guests before dispatching riders Control slide dispatch to maintain proper spacing and safety Observe riders for safe behavior and respond promptly to issues or emergencies Maintain cleanliness and organization of slide platforms and surrounding areas Ensure safety equipment is present and reported if damaged or missing Provide friendly, attentive guest service while maintaining a professional presence
Work Schedule :
Full-Time & Part-Time Require Flexible Scheduling Availability including nights and weekends
