Public Area Attendant (12pm-8pm) - DiamondHead Beach Resort

Responsible for the ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public/common guest and employee areas throughout the resort including but not limited to: restrooms, lobby, elevators and hallways, indoor and outdoor resort common spaces, while following safe working habits and exceeding guest expectations. Primary shifts/hours are 12pm-8pm, however must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as required - this position may be required to work flexible, rotating shifts as needed. Must be able to work in a team in unison with all members of the staff in order to ensure an efficiently organized and operated department Minimum of six months to one year previous Housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within the hospitality industry Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; twist and bend during majority of working hours Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of the assigned shift. Adequate manual dexterity to regularly lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs. (i.e. trash, furniture, mattresses, towels, linens, vacuums, mops, brooms, mattresses, furniture, etc.) Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
