Job Description

1. Facility gate will be closed through your shift. 2. Greet visitors at the gate. 3. Maintain visitors sign in log. 4. Inform Nurse's Station of visitors on the floor. 5. Assist in re-directing residents who are attempting to go out of gate. 6. Assist in re-directing argumentative and/or combative residents at the Nurse's Station discretion. 7. Do at least hourly rounds around property and through facility-reporting an potential problems to the Nurse's Station. 8. Empty all exterior trashcans after 9:00p.m. 9. Pick up any trash on property during round checks. 10.
Seasonal:
Ensure sidewalks are free from snow and ice. 11.
Seasonal:
Hose off picnic area after last smoke break. 12. Assist with resident cigarette break. 13. Empty cigarette receptacle at smoke area after final smoke break. 14. Completion of Alarm/Environmental checks— Includes turning on all exterior door alarms at 10:00 p.m. Report any damaged alarms immediately to supervisor. 15. Completion of Increased Observation Flow Sheets- Identify any unusual and/or incident involving resident, staff, or visitors. 16. Employee is also to do any other duties that is assigned to him/her by supervisor. I also understand that failure to perform these duties could result in a write-up and/or termination.
