Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Arrival Welcome guests promptly and professionally upon arrival. Assist guests entering and exiting the hotel. Provide accurate information for best parking for guest depending on guest room location. Provide luggage assistance during arrival and departure. Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel amenities. Coordinate with the Front Desk regarding guest arrivals, departures, and special requests. Guest Services Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Provide directions, transportation information, and recommendations. Assist guests with package deliveries, luggage storage, and special requests. Deliver guest items, amenities, messages, and packages to guest rooms. Departure Services Assist guests with luggage during check-out. Coordinate transportation assistance for departing guests. Thank guests for their stay and invite them to return. Hotel Appearance & Safety Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, bell stand, garages and luggage storage areas. Ensure luggage is handled safely and securely. Follow all hotel safety and security procedures. Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns immediately. Teamwork Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments. Assist with special events, group arrivals, and VIP guests. Support hotel operations as needed to ensure exceptional guest service. Performance Expectations Consistently deliver friendly, professional, and personalized guest service. Maintain positive guest satisfaction scores and service standards. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork. Uphold all hotel brand standards and operational procedures. Key Service Standards Acknowledge guests within 10 feet and 10 seconds. Maintain eye contact, smile, and use guest names whenever possible. Escort guests rather than simply giving directions. Create memorable guest experiences through proactive service and attention to detail. This position plays a critical role in creating exceptional first and last impressions that contribute directly to guest satisfaction and hotel success. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hospitality, customer service, or hotel experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of local area attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Valid driver's license may be required if valet duties are included. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs when necessary. Schedule Requirements Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work special events and peak occupancy periods.
