POSITION SUMMARY
Members of the Golf Cart Shuttle Attendant Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, world-class experiences through hands-on and face to face service and unreasonable hospitality. The Golf Cart Shuttle Attendant Team are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of golfers and guests from/to the Mountain Top Grill, Golf Course, Payne's Valley Cottages, Ozarks National, Practice Facilities and Cart Facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide exceptional service in the following positions: Mountain Top Grill and Clubhouse, Ozarks National Clubhouse and Practice Facilities, Cart Facility and Payne's Valley Cottages. In addition to operating a shuttle golf cart. Transporting guests, golfers and Associates with safe and timely transportation to varied locations Must be able to assist guests with the loading and unloading of golf clubs as needed in addition to luggage they may have. Initiates contact with guests with a warm welcome and the willingness to assist the guest Must be proactive in anticipating the guest's needs Must effectively communicate all pertinent information amongst his/her team members and supervisory staff regarding daily operations Performs other related duties as assigned Always carries themselves in a friendly approachable manner Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments Must be highly service focused with a desire to engage with guests Demonstrated initiative
  • ability to think, work, and make decisions to solve guest concerns based on sound judgment Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards, attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness a must
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic understanding of golf operations and experience in hospitality preferred Ability to operate a four-seat or six-seat shuttle golf cart
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Ability to work on feet for short periods of time, work safely, communicate effectively, understand and carry out written and oral directions, and establish good working relationships with co-workers Able to work in outside weather conditions Lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis Be able to work weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings as business demands.   • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Basic Computer Skills
  • Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.). Reading Comprehension

  • The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly walks, sits, and stands. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. Seldom/Never does computer work.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by the supervisor. Limited opportunities exist for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
