Seasonal Part-Time Bellhop / Elevator Operator Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Bellhop/Elevator Operator to join our hospitality team during our busiest season. This position plays an important role in creating a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and operating our historic staff-operated elevator. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude. Assist guests with luggage during arrival, departure, and upon request. Safely and courteously operate the property's historic staff-operated elevator. Provide information about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions. Escort guests to their rooms as needed and offer assistance with directions throughout the property. Help maintain an organized and welcoming lobby and entrance area. Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate any concerns to management. Follow all safety procedures while handling luggage and operating the elevator. Qualifications Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude. Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business hours. Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Schedule Seasonal, part-time position. Primarily scheduled during peak guest arrival and departure times, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
