Who we are looking for - Strong knowledge of all applicable local liquor laws Able to interact and connect with guests Effectively deal with confrontational situations, using a heightened level of communication skills to bring them to a suitable conclusion, to protect both the business and the guest Take pride in your position and in the quality of service and hospitality that you provide Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task Understanding customer service/hospitality What You Will be Doing Greeting guests on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome Carding (ID'ing) everyone that looks under 50 years of age and ensures that no one enters the building without a valid ID as applicable to the time segment Ensuring that any person that is visibly intoxicated is denied entrance Managing guest issues, and potential guest issues, to best protect and ensure the safety of all guests and employees as well as the protection of the business Completing safety & security walk thru(s) of the building to ensure no issues that may impact guest and / or employee safety (e.g. spills, broken glass, potentially intoxicated guests, building is clear of patrons at the end of the night etc.) Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of alcohol to include, but not limited to, ID'ing standards, over serving, hours of permitted service (last call etc.) and guests not entering / exiting the building with alcohol containers What You Will Get Competitive hourly pay Meal discounts QC Pour House LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all team members and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age,disability or genetics.
