GM LOCATION
Murphy, North Carolina SALARY:
Hourly/$11.00 - $14.00 SUMMARY Bowling and Arcade Attendant, is a key role in the smooth operation of the entire Bowling Center including the Helm and Arcade area. This person will be the front line of contact with guests and will be responsible for any needs the guests might have. This position demands someone with problem solving skills as well as a positive attitude to ensure a fun, memorable experience for the guest. They are also expected to provide excellent service for guests with a friendly smile while always following our guest service standards of 10 for 10, 80/20 and C.P.R. Team members must have comprehensive knowledge of all events and amenities in the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  • Perform a variety of attending duties in the Bowling, Helm, and Arcade areas.
  • Maintain and provide equipment to participate in Bowling Center and Arcade.
  • Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the proper etiquette and service standards
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Maintain Bowling Center cleanliness by bussing lanes, keeping the area free of trash, and keeping bathrooms clean and stocked.
  • Keep lines of communication open with the Helm and Shift Manager on duty.
  • Maintain knowledge of the company and the areas to ensure guests have correct information.
  • Handle themselves in front of all guests and staff in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for center cleanliness. Guest area should be kept clean and orderly at all times.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Pre-Employment Drug Test and a background check are required to complete the onboarding paperwork, this is required by the Cherokee Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Have general working knowledge of the Bowling center,
  • Required to have the ability of handling and moving objects such as displays, stocking, labeling, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things. Pick up to 50lbs., 75 feet
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others to create a successful environment.
  • Always provide a positive attitude and support staff and management in decision making.
  • Arcade attendants are expected to possess an extensive knowledge of guest service.
  • Basic math skills, computer skills
  • Read and write English
  • High School Diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work days, nights, holidays, weekends are required.
  • Work in an area where there is varying noise, lighting, in a fast paced environment with changes in air quality including second hand smoke.
  • Read and write handwritten notes.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk or stand 100% of the shift.
  • Reach, bend and stoop frequently.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and sloped surfaces
WORK ENVIROMENT
  • Interior Work Areas - have moderate temperatures. Interior flooring may be carpeted, tile, and concrete.
  • Exterior Work Areas- Moderate to extreme temperatures depending on weather conditions
