Public Area Attendant

The Public area Attendant will maintain a clean and orderly hotel in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe manner, and the brand's standards to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, while embracing the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all public space. Maintain cleanliness of public bathrooms, floors, empty all garbage cans, fill soap and paper towel dispensers. Dusting all pictures and mirrors, high dusting, vacuum all carpet area. Assisting guests. Approach all encounters with Guests and Associates in a friendly manner. Always comply with Company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Hotel operations.

Requirements:

Working in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations. Keeps the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate. Requests assistance as needed. Requires strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate with guests and team members verbally or in written form. At all times projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public. Must have open availability work weekends and holidays.

Physical:

Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in motion for the full day. Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
