Job Description
The Baggage Handler is responsible for assisting airline passengers with proper handling, processing, and transportation of their luggage. Meet all arrivals as scheduled and assist passengers at baggage claim loading, unloading, carrying or otherwise transporting passenger luggage to and from specified areas. Assist in proper handling of over-sized, unusually shaped luggage including skis, dog kennels and strollers. Ensure passenger luggage is placed safely on the baggage handling system. Adhere to all airport and government policies and regulations. Ability to effectively communicate with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, managers, and security personnel.
