Job Description

Job Summary The Outside Services Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of golf facilities and equipment, while providing professional, courteous service to members and guests.
Expectation of Excellence:
Outside Services Attendants represent the first and last impression of the golf operation. Every interaction and task should reflect the Club's commitment to exceptional service, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.

PT/Seasonal Reporting:
This position will report directly to the Head or Assistant Golf Professional, or designee. Duties Golf Cart & Facility Maintenance Stage carts for play with proper alignment, accessories, and readiness Clean, wash, and detail golf carts daily to ensure pristine presentation Monitor golf fleet for damage or maintenance needs and report accordingly Maintain cleanliness of staging areas, bag drop, and practice facilities Club Care & Handling Greet members upon arrival and assist with unloading and staging golf bags Clean golf clubs before and after play, ensuring attention to detail Properly store and organize member equipment in designated areas Handle all equipment with care and professionalism Practice Facility Operations Pick and collect range balls efficiently and safely Clean, sort, and restock range balls for daily use Maintain practice areas including tee lines, bag stands, and surrounding grounds Ensure range presentation meets club standards at all times Member & Guest Relations Provide a warm, welcoming greeting to all members and guests Engage in polite, professional conversation at the bag drop, tee box, and practice areas Anticipate member needs and offer assistance proactively Uphold the highest standards of service and discretion expected in a private country club environment
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience Previous experience in golf or high-end customer service/hospitality is highly valued Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail Time management and efficiency Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Job Knowledge, Core Competencies & Expectations Basic understanding of golf etiquette Working knowledge of golf equipment, pace of play, and the rules of the game Member service excellence Equipment care and operational awareness Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset Professionalism Punctuality Required Uniform White polo with black shorts or black pants Clean, pressed attired must be worn at all times while on duty Close-toed, golf appropriate footwear is required Maintain a neat, professional appearance that is consistent with club standards Physical Requirements Walking extended distances Performing repetitive tasks Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach, walk, stand, stoop, and crouch Physical stamina - lift fifty (50) pounds Working conditions can often be hot and humid/varying weather conditions Ability to work in a busy, noisy environment
