Do you want to work in a fun, challenging and fast-paced environment? Join Menzies Aviation and be part of our family! Urgently Hiring Wheelchair Agents! Must Have Flexibility for Any Shift - MUST have open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Pay Rate of $13.00 per hour (with the possibility of tips) The Wheelchair Agent is responsible for meeting inbound and outbound flights to provide services for passengers needing special assistance with wheelchairs and aisle chairs.
Primary Accountabilities and Duties:
Provide Special assistance to passengers, as requested. Provide general information and directions to passengers. Meet inbound arrivals as requested to provide exceptional services (courtesy chairs, walk assistance through the terminal). Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history. Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportationLanguage Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
- Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
