Job Description
Job Summary The Mimslyn Inn is a historic 57-room boutique hotel in downtown Luray, Virginia, and a member of Historic Hotels of America. Just minutes from Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns, we offer a warm, elevated guest experience rooted in Southern hospitality. We're looking for a friendly, dependable Bellman to be one of the first faces our guests see. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and open doors as they arrive and depart Transport luggage and packages to and from guest rooms, vehicles, and loading areas (by hand or luggage cart) Answer guest questions about hotel services, in-house events, and local attractions, dining, and shopping Keep luggage carts, lobby doors, and windows clean and presentable Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns, escalating to management as needed Maintain a professional, positive attitude with guests and coworkers Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures Requirements Friendly, guest-focused personality with strong communication skills Ability to lift and carry luggage and stand/walk for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Prior hospitality or customer service experience a plus, but not required Local knowledge of the Luray/Shenandoah Valley area a plus Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
