$11.00/hour About the Role Blue Harbor Resort is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Arcade Attendant to join our Waterpark team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families and children, providing excellent guest service, and creating a fun and welcoming environment. As an Arcade Attendant, you'll help guests enjoy the Pier Fun Zone Arcade by assisting with game cards, answering questions, maintaining the arcade area, monitoring equipment, and helping guests redeem their earned credits for prizes. Flexible scheduling opportunities Employees enjoy free waterpark passes, resort-wide discounts, and free fitness center access Opportunities to grow within Blue Harbor Resort and across departments What You'll Do Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional service to all arcade guests Assist guests with purchasing, loading, and using arcade game cards Explain arcade games, card systems, prize redemption, and general arcade procedures Assist guests with questions or issues involving arcade games and equipment Monitor arcade machines and notify leadership or maintenance of equipment issues Keep the arcade clean, organized, safe, and inviting throughout the shift Regularly inspect the arcade area for cleanliness, safety concerns, and guest needs Assist guests with prize redemption and maintain an organized prize area Restock and organize prizes and supplies as needed Monitor inventory of prizes, cards, and other arcade supplies Follow established procedures for handling arcade cards, credits, prizes, and transactions Assist with opening and closing procedures for the arcade Follow daily operating schedules and ensure games and kiosks are properly shut down at closing Communicate equipment problems, guest concerns, and other operational issues to leadership Assist with maintaining a safe environment for children and families Follow all Waterpark and resort safety procedures Work collaboratively with Waterpark and other resort team members Maintain awareness of guests who may need assistance or additional support Handle guest concerns professionally and seek assistance from leadership when needed Follow all company policies, including uniform and appearance standards Complete additional duties as assigned by Waterpark leadership Leadership Expectations Follow all standard operating procedures and Waterpark/Arcade guidelines Provide consistently friendly and professional guest service Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a fun team environment Remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns or busy periods Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and keep the arcade area guest-ready Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Maintain awareness of safety and security within the arcade Ask for assistance from leadership when a guest concern or equipment issue cannot be resolved independently What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children, families, and guests of all ages Dependable attendance and reliability Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Basic computer or point-of-sale skills preferred Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or recreation experience preferred but not required Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak vacation periods Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment High School diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to bend, reach, squat, push, and pull as needed Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs Ability to move and organize arcade prizes and supplies Ability to work in a busy, high-energy environment Ability to safely navigate and maintain an active guest area Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing
