Job Summary Working Hours are: 4am-10am Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create memorable mornings for our guests! In this lively role, you'll be the first smile guests see, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm will help serve delicious breakfast options, keep the dining area spotless, and provide exceptional in-person customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, beverages, and fruit displays, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area by sanitizing surfaces, clearing tables, and properly disposing of waste according to food safety sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee makers, and warming trays safely and efficiently. Assist with food handling tasks including portioning, plating, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety management protocols. Support food preparation activities by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills and assisting with light cooking tasks when needed. Process cash transactions at the breakfast station using POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards while handling food products and serving guests. Provide friendly, attentive service to guests in person, addressing their needs promptly and professionally. Support catering or banquet setups as required, helping deliver exceptional service during special events or large groups. Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or serving items with care to ensure consistency and quality. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, especially within restaurant or catering environments. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and basic math skills are highly valued. Experience operating kitchen equipment like coffee machines or warming trays is advantageous. A background in dietary aide work or food industry roles demonstrates a strong foundation in food safety management and customer service excellence.
