Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction through suggestive selling techniques. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks. Ensure timely delivery of orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and manage food handling responsibilities with precision. Requirements Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or square POS; retail math skills are a plus. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and proper sanitation practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Experience with operating kitchen or café equipment is preferred; familiarity with grocery or retail environments is advantageous. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
