Join our team! The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at The Shoals is accepting applications for Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Our Clubhouse Grill is open for breakfast and lunch service only - avoid working late night hours with this unique opportunity. Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a leadership position at a golf course, restaurant or food and beverage operation preferred Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations. Additional value will be placed on a background in hospitality, or high-service dining operation.
Essential Responsibilities :
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Sunbelt's policies and applicable laws. This is a full-time position. The hours to assigned to this position vary each week according to scheduled functions and include working on holidays and weekends. The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage reports to the Director of Food and Beverage and assists in all areas of food and beverage operations to include, dining room, kitchen operations, banquet operations, beverage cart service and meeting rooms. Assists in hiring and training of full-time, part-time and seasonal staff. Assists in cost controls for food and beverage and daily operations. Utilizes technology to manage all areas of the food and beverage operation including point of sale, scheduling, payroll, inventory, etc. Assists in creating and maintaining a culture of teamwork by having a strong and visible presence with exceptional communication skills.
