Dining Room Attendant

We're a family-run, Texas-style barbecue spot in downtown Sheffield. This role is customer-facing and requires direct communication with guests, cleaning, and a love for hospitality. Friday & Saturday:

9:45 AM - 7:45 PM (or whenever closing tasks completed)

Sunday:

10:00 AM - 3:45 PM (or whenever closing tasks completed) What you'll do Greet guests and check in on satsifaction, resolve minor issues, etc Taking out trash and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant Restocking cups, lids, sauces, napkins, and other supplies Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and general cleaning duties Cleaning windows and maintaining dining room appearance Cleaning bathrooms Assisting with prep/restock/cleaning work during slower periods Helping front counter staff and cashiers as needed Supporting the team with additional tasks assigned by management Support opening/closing tasks What we're looking for Great attitude and reliability (seriously—this matters most) Comfortable talking with customers and working in a visible role Able to move fast without getting flustered Team-first mindset: jump in where needed Can stand for long periods and lift typical restaurant items (trays, boxes, etc.) Restaurant/hospitality experience is a plus Why work here Consistent, predictable schedule (the shifts listed above) Family-run environment with a strong community vibe Free/discounted meals, PTO/Sick time after 3 months, and raise opportunities every 3 months over first year Tip pool to boost hourly rate above $12/hr (typically $15-16/hr on average, sometimes as high as 20+/hr during busy weeks)
