Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Breakfast Attendant and become the welcoming face of our morning service! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a fresh, inviting breakfast area that delights our guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth, enjoyable start to every guest's day, creating memorable experiences through excellent food presentation, friendly service, and a spotless environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and hospitality talents in a dynamic setting. This position is part time Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 5am-11am and Monday 7am to 10am. Duties Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Prepare and replenish breakfast items such as fruits, pastries, cereals, and hot dishes while maintaining cleanliness and organization Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu options, and provide exceptional guest service with a friendly attitude Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, bussing dishes, sanitizing food prep areas, and ensuring the breakfast area is tidy at all times Support catering or banquet setups when needed, including cleaning and setup for special events or meetings when needed Follow all food handling protocols and dietary guidelines to ensure safe consumption for all guests Helping with inventory and restocking after truck delivery Cleaning and sanitizing lobby area and restrooms. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or banquet attendant is preferred but not required Knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, meat cutting, and meal assembly Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies comfortably Ability to lift 30+ pounds Attention to detail in food presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards Experience with coffee making or barista skills is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant or hotel environment Join us in delivering exceptional breakfast experiences that energize our guests' mornings!
