Job Description

seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to help at pop-up events, festivals, and community gatherings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and doesn't mind working outdoors. Responsibilities Assist with setting up and breaking down event equipment, including tents, tables, banners, signage, cooking equipment, and serving stations. Assemble and serve chicken and shrimp bowls, Southwest Dippers, and other menu items according to company standards. Greet customers, answer menu questions, and process payments. Restock food, sauces, utensils, and supplies throughout the event. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace. Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures. Assist with loading and unloading event supplies and equipment. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. Qualifications Previous food service experience is required. Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation and punctuality are required. Availability to work weekends and occasional weekday events is required. Food Handler Certification is a plus but not required.
