Job Description

Child Nutrition Worker The Child Nutrition Worker supports daily school nutrition operations by preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, and providing quality food service to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals according to nutritional and food safety requirements. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, food preparation, storage, and serving areas. Monitor food quality, temperature, quantity, and appearance. Maintain required records, including inventory, supply lists, and temperature logs. Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supplies. Monitor kitchen and cafeteria areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Assist with other Nutrition Services duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Job-related experience preferred. Food Handler/ServSafe Certificate required. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must meet required background and clearance requirements.
