JOB GOAL
To assist in the daily operation of the cafeteria to insure a smooth program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works where needed on preparation of food and clean up. 2. Works on the serving line, table washing, cashiering, taking out trash, pots and pans, clean up of equipment and snack bar. 3. Other general duties assigned by the food service manager necessary in preparation or clean up. 4. Understands and practices USDA accountability and general safety standards. 5. Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. 2. Ability to obtain food handlers card. 3. Ability to lift medium to heavy weights, bend, stoop, reach and climb. 4. Shall have ability to work effectively and professionally with school personnel and students.
REPORTS TO
Cafeteria Manager
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Work year, salary and benefits as established by the Board.
EVALUATION
Performance of this job shall be evaluated by the Cafeteria Manager in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel. R13321
Hours:
Monday-Friday up to 7.5 hrs/day, 180 days
