This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys food preparation, takes pride in presentation, and is comfortable working in a small, collaborative kitchen environment. The position will include a combination of prep cook and assistant chef responsibilities , depending on experience and the needs of each event. Duties may include preparing ingredients and menu items, assembling charcuterie boards and grazing displays, assisting with catered meals, maintaining an organized and sanitary prep area, and helping with event preparation and execution. We're looking for someone who: Has prior kitchen, catering, restaurant, or food-preparation experience Is comfortable with both basic prep and more skilled cooking responsibilities Has strong attention to detail and food presentation Works efficiently and stays organized in a busy kitchen Is dependable, flexible, and able to work well as part of a small team Understands safe food handling and kitchen sanitation Is willing to pitch in wherever needed to help prepare for catering events This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the creativity and variety of catering and would like to be part of a small, growing food business. There may be opportunities for increased responsibility and a larger assistant-chef role as the position develops.
Schedule:
Part-time/flexible; hours will vary based on catering and event needs.
Compensation:
Based on experience.

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
