With the full property transformation complete, this role helps drive the vision and execution of our refreshed culinary identity. This position supports the development and operations of our transformed culinary venues, including collaboration with celebrity Chef Angelo Sosa at Tia Carmen , our Southwest‑inspired signature restaurant, and Carmocha , an upscale lounge featuring curated cocktails and eclectic indoor/outdoor dining. The Assistant Director also oversees the renovated recreation area, including Vista Square Kitchen , HyTides Waterpark , and Palmadoro , our nostalgic, destination‑inspired airstream concept. With a multimillion‑dollar property transformation complete, this is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and creative leader to elevate culinary awareness across diverse outlets while guiding the F&B division forward for both transient and group guests. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. This is the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Position Overview The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for overseeing and directing Banquets, Restaurants, In‑Room Dining, Lounges, Stewarding, and all other Food & Beverage‑related areas operated by Grand Hyatt. Qualifications 4 years or more of progressive hotel Food and Beverage experience (typically with Hyatt) Service oriented style with professional presentations skills Proven leadership skills Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills Experience implementing new F&B concepts
