In this pivotal role, you will oversee banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient team management. Your leadership will inspire staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety, presentation, and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating memorable events in a beautiful outdoor environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all banquet service activities, ensuring timely and professional delivery of food and beverages during events. Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to uphold service standards, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service flow in accordance with safety and quality standards. Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure availability and proper maintenance. Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure smooth food production and timely service during events. Monitor event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details align with client specifications and safety regulations. Collaborate with operations and housekeeping teams to ensure everything is set up as needed. Conduct staff training sessions on menu knowledge, food safety management, customer service excellence, and hospitality best practices. Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction and uphold the venue's reputation. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, catering, or banquet supervision within a hospitality or restaurant environment. Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in food service or hospitality teams. Knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and kitchen management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Experience in managing hospitality teams. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Casual dining or fine dining experience is preferred; banquet experience is highly desirable. Bartending knowledge is highly desirable.
