Job Description
BusserJob Details This position is for weekend mornings. The Busser plays an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience by maintaining clean, organized dining areas and supporting the front-of-house team. This position ensures tables are promptly cleared, reset, and ready for guests while assisting servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Working weekends is required for the position. Duties and Responsibilities As a Busser, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly between guests. Refill water glasses and assist with delivering food when needed. Stock and maintain service stations with dishes, glassware, utensils, napkins, and other supplies. Assist servers by removing used dishes and responding to guest requests. Keep the dining room, patio, restrooms, and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Sweep, mop, and perform routine cleaning duties throughout each shift. Assist with opening and closing side work. Support the bar and café team with glassware, dish runs, and restocking supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in dish and service areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure efficient service and an outstanding guest experience. Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations. Requirements Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and moving throughout the restaurant. Ability to lift and transport trays, bus tubs, and restaurant supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions Fast-paced restaurant environment with frequent guest interaction. Exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures. May require extended hours depending on business needs. Uniform Requirements Clean, non-slip shoes. Clean and presentable attire in accordance with company dress code. Hair tied back or neatly groomed.
