Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a dynamic role that encompasses various aspects of food service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in cleaning, bussing, and customer service. This position is essential for ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Duties Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and organized dining area, kitchen, and service stations. Assist with bussing tables promptly and efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs during their dining experience. Support food service operations by assisting with serving meals and beverages as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders while adhering to food handling safety standards. Participate in catering events as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in various settings. Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts. Sets upside stations and performs assigned side work. Performs related Dining Room set-up tasks. Attends pre-meal meetings (15 minutes prior to service). Provides immediate attention to members and guests immediately after having been seated. Provides water and bread in a timely manner according to Club standard procedures. Relays any special member/guest instructions or requests to server. Assists the server throughout the meal. Removes soiled dishes in a timely manner in accordance with Club standard procedures. Maintains a strong presence on the floor. Closely monitors member and guest dining experiences to ensure member satisfaction. Keeps tables, side stations and dining room in impeccable condition throughout all meal service periods. Performs reasonable amounts of production in specified time. Inform Manager of any problems that arise with either food or beverage service. Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by Manager on duty. Assists in re-setting Main Dining Room, and Banquet Rooms as assigned. Understands Banquet style service. Possesses a strong commitment to working effectively in a team environment. Is able to communicate in English. Is familiar with all areas of the Club and is able to direct members and guests. Possesses a basic understanding and application of safety policies and practices. Is able to lift up to 40 pounds. Performs other duties as may be required. Requirements Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred, showcasing familiarity with food service protocols. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to uphold cleanliness standards. Experience in bussing, serving, or catering roles is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations is a plus.
