Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for the food preparation and set-up of the breakfast, cleanliness of the food and beverage areas and assisting in the setting-up and cleaning for special guest functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assist with and/or place the breakfast food order 2. Turn in all delivery invoices to GM or check and audit all receivables against delivery slip. 3. Prepare and set-up breakfast foods 4. Conduct regular inventories of food and paper or hard goods used at breakfast 5. Maintain the stock of breakfast foods and supplies during breakfast service 6. Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area, mop/sweep floors, wipe-down counter tops and equipment etc. during and after breakfast hours 7. Maintain company standards by recording food temperatures and follow codes set by the health department 8. Complete food safety certification 9. Assist in the setting up of meeting rooms and banquets as needed. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the meeting room during and after the meeting 10. Clean the public areas thoroughly each day, according to company standards 11. Clean breakfast area tables and chairs as required 12. Notify the Supervisor, Operations Manager, AGM or General Manager of any problems with cleaning or equipment 13. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner 14. Use the

Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify) 15. Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests 16. Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures 17. Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements 18. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for department 19. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys 20. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests 21. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor's or manager's office for logging and storage 22. Accommodate guest special requests courteously. 23. Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services. 24. Carry out any reasonable request by management that I am capable of performing. These duties may require you to frequently bend, lift, carry, twist, push, pull, reach, kneel, and may require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. You will be trained to perform all of these functions within the required safety guidelines and expectations. If at any point you feel you are unable to perform any of these functions, please let your manager know immediately.
