Villa Marin is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community located in San Rafael, California. Our community offers independent living and supportive services designed to meet residents' changing needs. Residents take pride in their community and actively participate in decisions that help shape life at Villa Marin. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and service-oriented individuals who enjoy working with people and want to help make Villa Marin a great place to live and work.
JOB SUMMARY
Villa Marin is currently seeking a Part-Time Busser to join our Culinary Services team. The Busser assists dining room servers while providing friendly, professional, and efficient service to residents and guests. This position is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, completing assigned side work, and assisting with dining room opening and closing duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, and able to work well as part of a team.

$20.00-$21.00 per hour Flexible availability is required Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist dining room servers during meal service. Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service to residents and guests. Clear dishes, utensils, glassware, and other items from tables. Clean and reset tables for the next service. Maintain clean and organized dining areas and service stations. Refill dining room supplies as needed. Complete assigned side work and dining room opening and closing duties. Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors. Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Assist with special events and community functions as assigned. Perform other related duties as needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Tact and courtesy when interacting with residents, guests, and coworkers. Ability to read menus and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in a dining room environment. Previous experience in an upscale restaurant or dining room is preferred but not required. Must be at least 16 years of age. A valid work permit is required when applicable. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
