Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
Set up the breakfast area before service begins, ensuring all food, beverages, and supplies are ready on time Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude and assist them as needed Monitor and replenish food, coffee, juice, and supplies continuously throughout service Prepare simple hot and cold items in accordance with property standards Clear, clean, and sanitize tables, counters, and dining areas throughout the shift Wash, dry, and put away dishes, utensils, and serving equipment Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, temperature logs, and labeling Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area at the close of service Track inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered Address guest requests and comments promptly and courteously, escalating to management when needed Maintain a clean, welcoming common area and lobby Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or maintenance needs Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
Minimum of one to three months of related experience, or equivalent training and experience Previous experience in a hotel breakfast, restaurant, café, or food service setting preferred Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain one prior to start)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) Ability to work early morning hours, including weekends and holidays Strong customer service skills, with a friendly approach to guest needs Professional demeanor, treating guests and team members with respect Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay ahead of guest needs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written Reliable attendance, with flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed
