Tong Sui is one of the most popular dessert and drinks shops in the Bay Area. We are best known for fresh coconut desserts and organic fresh fruit drinks. Originating from Hong Kong desserts, Tongsui is the only new fusion Asian dessert shop in the Bay Area. Tongsui crafts premium desserts and drinks made fresh in store daily. We source our premium organic ingredients straight from local farms, and we don't add any artificial flavor. We're now looking for dedicated individuals to be a part of our team. Tong Sui is now hiring for the Food Prep/Kitchen Assistant position in the Sunnyvale Location. Job Description Consistently prepare and portion all fruit & food according to recipes, procedures, and standards. Comply with all food safety requirements such as checking and maintaining temperature, dating and labeling products, and rotating products so that the oldest is used first. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, stoves, ovens, and refrigeration equipment. Handle, store, and rotate all products properly. Complete side work for station and shift. Close the prep areas correctly. Follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing stations and the kitchen. Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty. Qualifications Kitchen experience is required. Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). Able to communicate positively and effectively with all other employees. Basic ability to read English to understand kitchen tickets. Pay Rate starting from $21/hr Minimum wage during training; Pay rate will be re-evaluated after 3 months of training based on performance.
