We're opening our newest location at Westfarms Mall in Connecticut and are looking for a driven, organized Assistant Manager to help lead the team from day one. The Role As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with senior leadership to oversee daily café operations, support staff development, and help set the standard for what a great guest experience looks like. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be on the floor, leading by example, and playing a key part in building the culture of a brand-new location. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily operations and ensuring smooth shift execution Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members Monitor inventory, place orders, and maintain product standards Handle transactions accurately and oversee POS operations Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Provide exceptional customer service and model positive team behavior Act as a point of contact in the absence of senior management Qualifications Full-time availability Previous leadership experience in café, food service, or hospitality (required) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Positive, team-first attitude with a high standard for quality Availability including weekends and holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips Flexible scheduling Supportive leadership and clear expectations Real growth opportunity as part of an expanding brand
