In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist in meal preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and support guests with their needs. This position requires a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and standards. Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and provide recommendations as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives for food preparation. Handle cash register transactions accurately when required. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service. Support banquet services as needed during special events or peak times. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous. Experience with guest services or hospitality is a plus. Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with guests.
