Job Description
Willington Public Schools is seeking a permanent part-time food services worker for Mondays and Fridays. This individual will also have the opportunity to substitute on other school days. This position reports to the Food Service Director. The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate the following:
- Portion and serve breakfast and lunch items according to standard guidelines.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process meal transactions.
- Accept, inspect, and store incoming food and supply deliveries.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and track kitchen inventory.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Create a supportive and welcoming mealtime experience for all.
