We are looking for an attendant for 5:30am to 10:3am weekdays and 6am to 11am on weekends. At Comfort Inn & Suites we want our guests to rest and feel energized and ready for the day ahead which means we need team members to demonstrate the following service behaviors:

JOB OVERVIEW

The breakfast host/hostess is responsible for preparing and serving the daily free breakfast bar, greeting each guest at breakfast and ensuring that guests are 100 percent satisfied. This position may possibly be one of the last touch points we have with our guests before they leave. It is imperative that our host/hostess' be outgoing and interactive with our guests. Service Recovery may play a role in your daily routine, as you may hear comments or complaints from our guests during your interactions. Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel. Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guests' needs in a professional, timely and effective manner.

IS COMMITTED TO MAKING EVERY GUEST 100 PERCENT SATISFIED. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing personalized service to all guests. Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar in an attractive abundant looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation. Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day. Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juices from concentrates. Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers. Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other paper products. Setting out/arranging food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal for self service. Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated. Wiping up spills and removing trash Restocking self-service food and supplies as needed. Clean up and washing serving equipment and returning it to storage. Returning reusable food supplies to storage. Listening and responding to guests' requests or complaints. Reporting any issues to a supervisor on duty.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1

to 3 years previous Food and Beverage experience preferred Must have the flexibility to work with hotel/department demand. Weekends and holidays required.
