at Exceptional Care for Children in Newark, Delaware, United States Job Description Exceptional Care for Children is looking for an individual to join their Food Service Team. Skills required include experience with short-order style breakfast service, grill items, salads, soups and variety of daily specials where you can bring your own creativity as a cook! Fun, relaxed atmosphere with consistent scheduling, excellent benefits (medical, vision, dental), paid vacation, holidays and competitive salary. Must have ServSafe or be willing to obtain within 90days. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. Our customers are our nursing, administrative staff, families, visitors, and some residents. Experience with preparing therapeutic diets (altered textures) a plus! ECC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to pediatric patients requiring transitional, long term, and/or palliative care. We are an around-the-clock residential facility that provides skilled care to medically fragile children, birth to age 21, especially those who are dependent upon medical technology for daily living.
