This role involves transforming banquet halls and event areas to ensure a welcoming and professional environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, floor care, hospitality, or custodial services, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Duties Set up tables, chairs, linens, and other banquet equipment according to event specifications Clean and prepare event spaces prior to functions, including sweeping, mopping, and floor care Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained to uphold hygiene standards Assist with the arrangement of decorations and event materials as needed Break down and clean the space after events, including removing trash and resetting the area for future use Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and janitorial supplies Collaborate with hotel or venue staff to ensure smooth event operations Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred Knowledge of floor care and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift, move, and arrange furniture and equipment as required Experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is advantageous Prior hotel experience or experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial but not mandatory This role offers an opportunity to contribute to memorable events by ensuring the venue is impeccably prepared.
