Job Description
$15 per hour Overview The Food & Beverage Support Specialist works in a support role for our full-service restaurant operations. Their responsibilities include greeting, seating and saying farewell to our guests; ensuring the restaurant is clean, organized, and stocked, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and readiness of all functions of the business throughout the shift. This position offers critical and crucial supporting functions to the F&B team that keeps our operations teams and our guests set up for success. Job Duties Greets guests upon their entrance; escorts guests to tables, engages in friendly conversation as guests are seated, presents menus, and expedites servers to newly seated customers; provides gratitude and friendly parting remarks as guests leave. (Essential) Monitors the open dining sections for empty and cleaned tables. (Essential) Assists with to go order food/beverage packaging and deliveries within our resorts when needed whether they are received through phone, web, or in person contact. (Essential) Maintains clean and accurate menus, including communicating with management any issues with par levels or changes needed. (Essential) Clears and cleans tables, as well as restocks utensils, plates, food, and condiments throughout shifts. (Essential) Provides friendly, quality, and genuine hospitality to each guest. Assists with delivering food or drinks to guests in a timely manner. Supports both the front and back of our F&B operations by helping to maintain a clean and welcoming working environment. Ensures guest and team member facing operations are free from debris/garbage and assists with consistent bussing and general upkeep including sanitizing, sorting, and stacking all dishes, flatware, glassware, and kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Follows sanitation standards to clean and maintain the restaurant area, including sweeping and vacuuming. May break down boxes and assist with vendor deliveries as needed. Performs shift opening/closing/side work duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) 6 months in previous serving experience (Preferred) Basic math skills Innate desire to provide the very best guest experience Excellent guest service and verbal communication skills Ability to present a professional resort image, including cleanliness and appearance standards
