Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Banquet Captain Duties:
Responsible for directing and ensuring proper execution of all scheduled banquets and meeting events. Oversees banquet functions providing service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail and desire to create a welcoming environment. Responsible for assisting with the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet event/ functions.
Restaurant Supervisor Duties:
Responsible for supervising daily operations of all areas of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state, maintaining current state food handlers management certificate. Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service. Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring guest satisfaction that exceeds expectations. One to two years previous experience in high volume and full-service Restaurant/ F&B Outlet required. Must obtain and maintain valid and State Food Handlers & Responsible Vendor Certifications Strong organizational and leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to excellence. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk to hear and taste or smell. Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of assigned shift. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations. Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (chairs, stanchions, tables), and push carts weighing up to 200 lbs., glass/mug racks weighing up to 30 lbs. Must have working ability with POS (Point-of-Sale) system & cash handling Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
