Job Description

Position Summary:
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for hotel guests by ensuring the breakfast area is properly set up, well stocked, clean, and welcoming. This position plays an important role in delivering excellent guest service while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to the start of service, including food items, beverages, utensils, and serving equipment. Ensure all breakfast items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished throughout the service period. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, floors, and serving stations. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with any guest requests or questions. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure brand standards are maintained. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Maintain adequate stock of breakfast items, supplies, and utensils. Break down the breakfast area after service and properly store food and supplies. Assist with washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste. Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or inventory needs to management.
Qualifications:
Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
Work Environment:
This position works in a fast-paced hospitality environment and requires maintaining a clean, safe, and guest-focused breakfast service area.
