Responsibilities Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Assist servers by bussing tables efficiently and delivering food or beverages when needed Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing dining surfaces, chairs, and floors regularly Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices Support food safety and sanitation standards by properly disposing of trash and ensuring proper table setup including silverware and condiments Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly Assist with light catering or special event setups as required to support restaurant operations Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting techniques Excellent communication skills for internal team coordination and guest interaction Knowledge of table setting, serving etiquette, and food safety standards is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable attendance with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Join us at Keke's Breakfast Cafe where your energy fuels our lively atmosphere!
